How do you prepare for a match?

I try to train hard during the week leading up to game day. Eat healthy meals, rest as much as possible, hydrate, and study my opponent.

What do you do to recover?

My recovery plan consists of cold and hot hydrotherapy, acupuncture, cupping, and massage.

What keeps you going?

I remind myself I’m blessed to be able to play this game. I think about the joy that it brings me and my family and what soccer has given me.

How do you approach and overcome obstacles?
It’s all a mind-set. You have to be accepting that there will be obstacles. It’s just about being positive, having goals, staying humble, and looking at the bigger picture.

If you weren’t a pro soccer player, what would you be doing?

Most likely, I’d be a character in your favorite TV show or movie.
