Cartier: Drive de Cartier
Long known for its ability to create enduring timepieces, the new Drive de Cartier, characterized by a new cushion-shaped case, is no exception. Developed around two 40mm main versions — one with hours, minutes, small seconds, and date, and the other, second time zone, day/night indicator, large date, and small seconds — each is powered by unique movements, as is an exceptional flying tourbillon version certified with the Hallmark of Geneva. Trademark guilloché motifs and Roman numerals punctuated with sword-shaped hands catch your eye, but it’s the winding crown shaped like a bolt that’s most distinct. The 40mm case has a textured satin finish at the sides with polished surfaces for the top and bottom. [$6,250–$89,500]
