Jaeger-LeCoultre: Reverso Tribute Duo
To celebrate 85 years since the original Reverso watch was launched, Jaeger-LeCoultre will release three anniversary collections: the Reverso Classic, Reverso Tribute, and Reverso One. But it’s the Tribute Duo that strikes the sharpest balance between modern looks and classic appeal. From the crisp white-blue front, reminiscent of the Grande Reverso Ultra Thin 1948, to the Dauphine-type hands on both the front and rear dials, the Tribute Duo is a masterful reminder of the timepiece’s origins on the polo field. The front dial is slightly grained, in white, with blue hour markers, hands, and a blue-printed subdial. The back is silver-toned for the hours, minutes, and day/night indicator, with a blue guilloché background. Inside the watch is a JLC Caliber 854A/2 with power reserve of 45 hours. A discreet trigger system serving to adjust the second time zone is seamlessly integrated into the case at 6 o’clock.
