We know, planning a week's worth of outfits just doesn't sound like something you really need to do. But gearing up with the right pieces is a smart way to save you some serious time in the mornings, and makes sure you always look cool as hell. Start with: the suit.
Suits are often considered more versatile when layering in the colder months, but the spring offers an opportunity to introduce a simpler style to your staple suits that may already be in your rotation. “Single breasted, slim fit, lightweight, and breathable khaki cotton, navy linen cotton, or silk-blend suits are the most neutral and have the widest range for mixing and matching,” says Wendi and Nicole Ferreira, stylists to Tom Cruise, Channing Tatum, Chris Pine, Pierce Bronsan, and David Oyelowo, among others.
“The most important thing to keep in mind is tailoring," they explain. "It should be slim and, as a spring suit, you have the choice of a shorter hem. They can be broken apart, go with each other, and are easier to pair with other casual staples in a man's closet.” Whether you’re looking for a week of style or simply a casual Friday look for your strict work dress code, we have you covered.
