Doubts that can be easily put to rest by spending time with those who have been there, felt that. Right now, your beard is evident, but in a weak, sickly sort of way. You wonder: Is this lame? Day 19: Hit the Gym
“Beyond diet, lifting weights is a great natural way to accelerate your beard growth,” says Bandholz. “Strength training boosts testosterone, which in turn increases hair growth.” As a guy who’s competed in the West Coast Beard & Mustache Championships, Bandholz swears by his workouts. “Looking at my beard growth from the time I wasn’t doing any kind of exercise and then looking at it after investing in diet and exercise, I absolutely see a difference,” he says.
