Start spreading the news–H&M is launching its biggest store ever in the city that never sleeps.
Set to stand four floors high and span 63,000 square feet, this mega H&M will sit in the heart of NYC’s Herald Square and open sometime in Fall 2014. While the store won’t be anywhere close to the size of its neighbor–Macy’s famous 1.2 million square foot flagship–it will be the biggest store the Swedish retailer has opened across the globe.
In addition to selling clothing, everything from sports apparel to home goods (so, basically anything aside from food) will be offered in one place, all at H&M’s characteristically affordable prices.
Earlier this month, the retailer made headlines when it finally launched its much anticipated e-commerce website in the U.S. H&M fans can now fill up their e-carts with jeans, t-shirts, shoes, and David Beckham Bodywear without leaving the comfort of their own homes. The online shop arrived just in time for Labor Day weekend–and we hear H&M is having a pretty great sale right now. Stocking up for fall while enjoying the last days of summer? Sounds good to us.
