Let's get right to it: If you don't already have one, do yourself a favor and go buy a blue suit for spring. In fact, it's one of the most versatile pieces of clothing you can have in your closet, year-round. “Everyone looks good in blue, and it's more fun than black but just as classic,” says Ilaria Urbinati, fashion stylist to Bradley Cooper, Ben Affleck, Ryan Reynolds, Chris Evans, and Rami Malek, to name a few. "And you definitely can't go wrong with a two-button suit. It’s timeless.”
Once you’ve mastered the solid blue or navy shade, that’s when you can look to spring to help you update and expand the everyday suit. But that doesn't mean you have to don ridiculously bright colors or weird patterns. “Cotton, linen, and seersucker suits are a fun way to mix up suiting for spring,” Urbinati says. “It’s lightweight and breathable.” And when mixing jacket and pant colors, go dark on bottom. “Black will always look less preppy than khaki or navy,” Urbinati says. Now, here are the suits that'll make you forget winter ever happened.
