Chopard L.U.C Regulator
Upping the ante on its L.U.C powerhouse timepiece, Chopard has added a regulator movement that, in keeping with the grand tradition of precision clocks, boasts six indications — each separated to ensure optimal readability. Right off the bat, the hours appear at 3 o’clock, an ideal spot for quick time telling. Additionally, in keeping with the symmetry, the power reserve (12 o’clock), small seconds (6 o’clock) and dual-time display (9 o’clock) sit bold at the cardinal points. The GMT function operates via a discreet corrector-pusher recessed into the side. Power is derived from a Caliber 98.02-L movement, only 4.9mm thick, on a graduated scale that delivers a 216-hour power reserve (or nine days).
