But Prepare to Sweat
So you tend to sweat a lot. Take that into consideration when you’re getting dressed. “Think ahead and have an extra shirt pressed and ready for a swap mid event,” van Wyck says. “Always start the party off with a crisp, pressed look because after a cocktail or three and the dance floor, it’s inevitable that you may get overheated or a little ruffled up.” Be mindful of the colors you wear as well. “Wear dark blue cotton with side vents — the dark color hides the sweat more than lighter colors, but the lightest weight linen is best,” Guérard says. Beyond your clothing, pack a small bottle of Tom Ford’s Costa Azzura or another scent in your car and some Ursa Major Essential Face Wipes in your pocket for a quick refresh.
