Rocky Mountain Oysters (Stand 144, Coors Field, Denver)
No luck catching foul balls at a Rockies game? Get yourself some fried ones. An Old West throwback from the days when “nose to tail” eating wasn’t a necessity for survival, rather than just a hot dining trend, the funky deep-fried delights known as Rocky Mountain Oysters – a.k.a. calves’ testicles – have been served at Stand 144 since Coors Field opened in 1995. While certainly not for the squeamish, they’re actually pretty damn good.
