Four Seasons Denver: Denver, CO
Denver is a magnet for outdoor enthusiasts, but Four Seasons Denver takes indoor physical fitness and endurance to the next level. The 24-hour, 2,354-square-foot fitness center is large for a city hotel, and it recently went through a major remodel with all brand-new equipment, as well as advanced cardio machines like Adaptive Motion Trainer with Open Stride and Elliptical Fitness Crosstrainers. They’ve also added a state-of-the-art Queenax Functional Training Room (think gliding disks, slam balls, punching bags, battle ropes and plyometric jump boxes at your fingertips). The most demanding addition is personal trainer and group fitness instructor Doug Graham, who has trained elite athletes like professional snowboarder Alexis Roland, plus members of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Vikings. Locals who like to splurge can opt for the $70,000-a-year LXX membership (we did say splurge), which includes unlimited spa treatments, personal training and more—or use the facilities when booking a spa treatment.
