Day Trip a North to Sedona or Flagstaff
A two-hour drive north takes you to the red rocks of Sedona — a paradise for hikers, art lovers, and photographers. A great way to see Sedona is via a Pink Jeep Tours. The Broken Arrow tour is a quick but thrilling 90-minute 4×4, off-roading adventure. The trip through Sedona’s outback gives you a front-row seat to many of the area’s famous sites, like Bell Rock and Chapel Butte.
A little farther north, and you’ll find yourself in the college town of Flagstaff. Home to cool bars, one-of-a-kind coffee shops, and unique restaurants, Flagstaff’s walkable downtown is a fun spot to spend a free afternoon — and soak up Northern Arizona’s cool air. Pop into the casual Old Town Creperie for a sweet or savory crepe and enjoy Latin-inspired fare on the patio at Criollo. Beer lovers: Try Lumberyard Brewing Co., Mother Road Brewing Co., and Beaver Street Brewery.Back to top
