Delaware River Scenic Byway (New Jersey Route 29)
Where It Goes: Route 29 begins in Hamilton Township, in New Jersey, and essentially follows Delaware River up to Frenchtown, New Jersey.
Length: 35 miles
Driving Time: Less than an hour
Where to Stop: Stop at Washington Crossing State Park in Hopewell Township, where Gen. George Washington launched his famous surprise attack. Cross the Washington Crossing Bridge, a truss bridge opened in 1904 that connects New Jersey to Pennsylvania.
