Meadow House, Richland Center, Wisconsin
Located only 30 minutes from Frank Lloyd Wright’s former home, Meadow House is a testament to his vision of harmoniously blending architecture with the environment. The upper level of the house is encased entirely in glass, offering a feeling of immersion in the surrounding forest. When you wake up, you will enjoy a 360-degree view as the sun begins to warm your hidden valley. The house is one of four located on eighty acres of privately owned land crisscrossed with hiking trails that lead you to hidden meadows, creek beds, and hilltops. Nearby are over 250 miles of trout streams open for fishing. In the winter, you can rent snowshoes and cross-country skis to explore the area.
