Dragon’s Dogma 2: How To Change Your and Your Pawn’s Appearance

How to change your appearance and that of your main pawn in Dragon's Dogma 2.

As Dragon’s Dogma 2’s character creator was released several weeks before the game, chances are you’ve already spent plenty of time crafting a character you’re happy with. However, you may find yourself mid-adventure and looking for a change, or you might even feel like giving your main pawn a glow-up.

While things like hairstyle and makeup can be changed anytime at a Barberie, we’ll explain how to totally transform your appearance, rebuilding your character and your main pawn from scratch.

How To Change Your Appearance in Dragon’s Dogma 2

You need to obtain an Art of Metamorphosis tome to change your appearance.

Go to Vernworth, directly up from the main gates is the chapel where the large Riftstone stands. Look to the left and you’ll see a merchant’s stall. Among other things, this merchant sells a tome called “Art of Metamorphosis” for 500 RC, you can buy up to two at once.

If you have an Art of Metamorphosis tome, you can modify appearance at any Barberie.

Once purchased, go to any Barberie with the book in your inventory, and you’ll have the option to change your appearance – you’ll be given the choice between editing yourself or your pawn. The tome is a one-time use item though, so you’ll need to buy a fresh one every time you want to make any changes.
